Yannick Pereira

Biography

Yannick Pereira joined August Debouzy in 2024, bringing with him experience gained at a Technology Transfer Acceleration Company (SATT) and later as a French patent attorney in a consulting firm.

As a European Patent Attorney, French patent attorney, and patent engineer, Yannick advises both French and international clients on industrial property matters, with a particular focus on patents. He also represents clients in proceedings before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the French National Institute of Intellectual Property (INPI).

After several years of experience in fundamental and applied research at the CEA and the Institut Pasteur, Yannick began his career in industrial property in 2009 at a biopharmaceutical startup, where he initially served as a patent engineer before becoming a European Patent Attorney.

Holding a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Sorbonne University, as well as a diploma from CEIPI, he possesses in-depth expertise in both biotechnology and industrial property law.
