Vincent Brenot

Biography

Vincent Brenot has been a partner at August Debouzy since 2014 and is a member of the Public Regulatory Environment team.

With over 20 years of experience in public and environmental law, he advises French and international clients, notably on public procurement, foreign direct investment (FDI) control, and parliamentary committees of inquiry. He also has recognized expertise in environmental matters, particularly in renewable energy, circular economy, and polluted sites and soils, especially in connection with real estate and M&A transactions. He is the only French lawyer ranked as a Global Elite Thought Leader since 2021 in Who's Who Legal, Environment category, with the following comment: “Vincent is among the best environmental lawyers in France”. He is also recognized in Forbes' ranking of the Top 40 lawyers serving CAC 40 companies in 2021 and 2024.
