Biography

Guillaume Aubatier joined August Debouzy in September 2021 as a partner and head in the newly created Real Estate and Construction department. He has been practicing law since 2005 and is a specialist in real estate and construction. He advises multiple French and international clients on all types of assets (offices, retail, logistics, industrial property, brownfield redevelopment, hotels, and alternative assets), as well as on numerous real estate and construction transactions, including investment transactions (asset deals and share deals), complex corporate real estate (joint ventures and strategic partnerships), development and construction transactions, leases and asset management.

Guillaume Aubatier also assists clients in connection with their pre-litigation and litigation matters in the real estate and construction sectors.

This dual expertise enables him to act for a wide range of French and international clients: pension funds, private equity funds, asset managers, banks, large companies, users, and family offices.

Before joining August Debouzy, Guillaume Aubatier worked for international law firms: King & Spalding (2019-2021) as a partner, and Ashurst (2005-2019) as a partner and associate. He has been listed for several years, both individually and with his team, in the main real estate and construction lawyer rankings (Chambers, Legal 500, Who is Who Legal, Décideurs Magazine).
