Biography

Grégoire Desrousseaux began his career as a French Patent Attorney before being admitted to the Paris Bar in 2000. He joined August Debouzy as a partner in 2011.

As a member of August Debouzy’s Patents team, he assists French and international clients with all patent-related matters, including advisory work or litigation and oppositions before the French courts, the UPC or the EPO.

A graduate of École Polytechnique and ENST, Grégoire Desrousseaux is both an engineer and a lawyer. His dual background—combining technical expertise with legal solutions—makes him a valuable asset for clients.

Grégoire leads a team of lawyers who share similar engineering backgrounds. He is also committed to sharing his knowledge by teaching patent law at CEIPI (Center for International Intellectual Property Studies) and at engineering schools.
