Dorian Scemama

Biography

Dorian Scemama has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2011. He joined August Debouzy as Counsel in 2021, after ten years in the Real Estate teams of two international law firms in Paris.

He advises on all aspects of real estate law, with particular expertise in corporate real estate transactions (acquisitions and disposals of property-owning companies and real estate portfolios), real estate private equity (joint ventures and shareholders' agreements), commercial leases, complex construction and development projects, asset management and real estate finance.

Dorian also has extensive experience in strategic pre-litigation and litigation matters in the real estate and construction sectors. He regularly assists clients at all stages of real estate transactions. His practice covers acquisitions and sales of various types of real estate assets—including offices, hotels, shopping centres, industrial facilities and residential properties)—as well as the financing and refinancing of such transactions. He also advises on the development and construction of complex real estate projects, and on the leasing and asset management of real estate portfolios, acting for both landlords and tenants.

His expertise also includes regular advice on strategic pre-litigation matters in the real estate and construction sectors, as well as on real estate debt restructuring.

His clients include French and international private equity funds, investors, asset managers, banks, major corporations, end-users, project owners, construction and real estate development company, and family offices.
