### (01) Environment

Environmental responsibility is part of our strategic vision. We act to reduce our footprint, operate sustainably, and engage every member of the firm in meaningful change. We limit paper and plastic use, strengthen recycling, and promote waste recovery to ensure that every action contributes to lasting impact.

In 2024, we recycled nearly nine tons of paper and cardboard and repurposed organic waste from our food services. We also advanced our carbon offset program through a **Gold Standard** certified project in Ethiopia, expanding access to clean and sustainable energy. These initiatives reflect our commitment to building a more responsible and forward-looking model.

### (02) Cultural Patronage

We believe culture drives progress. Supporting artistic creation, education, and the exchange of ideas reflects our conviction that culture fosters innovation, sharpens perspectives, and strengthens community.

Our partnerships with AROP, the Association for the Promotion of the Paris National Opera, and with the Comédie-Française reflect this belief.

Through this patronage, we help sustain institutions that embody excellence, creativity, and freedom of thought.

### (03) Civic Engagement

Commitment is part of our DNA. At August Debouzy, we believe civic responsibility extends beyond the workplace, and that everyone can contribute to the common good.

With this conviction in mind, we created **ADay to Give**: one day each year offered by the firm to allow every lawyer and staff member to volunteer for the charity or cause of their choice.

This initiative reflects our belief that collective engagement begins with individual action. Giving time, energy, or expertise strengthens both solidarity and purpose within the firm.

Through **ADay to Give,** we transform our convictions into concrete action, making solidarity a catalyst for openness and shared responsibility.

### (04) Pro Bono

We make pro bono work a cornerstone of our professional responsibility. Beyond advisory and litigation work, we use our legal expertise to serve organizations that advance the public interest.

Each year, our lawyers and legal professionals dedicate hundreds of hours to pro bono work, supporting associations and foundations that promote social justice, education, culture, health, and environmental protection.

These initiatives reflect our conviction that law is a tool for equity and progress, capable of protecting, empowering, and transforming society. They rely on the voluntary commitment of our teams, who bring the same rigor and excellence to pro bono work as to client matters.

Supporting those who serve others affirms our shared responsibility and gives full meaning to our profession: not only defending rights but shaping positive change.

CSR Committee

Made up of lawyers and staff from across the firm, our CSR Committee turns commitment into measurable action. It leads initiatives to reduce waste, promote solidarity, expand pro bono efforts, and develop projects that create lasting social and environmental impact.
