**August Debouzy heralds the arrival of two new counsels, Jean-Damien Boulanger and Rodrigue Tchouale, who will both be joining the Corporate department. **Jean-Damien Boulanger****,**a corporate lawyer specialising in capital market transactions, supplements the expertise of the firm’s Corporate team, specifically in the area of securities law. His experience in the capital markets will help meet the needs and strategic challenges of the firm’s clients, both French and foreign, at their various stages of existence. Jean-Damien Boulanger works in the area of capital market transactions on behalf of issuers, in the contexts of IPOs, capital increases, spin-offs, and stock and bond issues.  He also works with listed and unlisted companies on mergers and acquisitions, and advises listed companies in the areas of corporate governance and securities law. Before joining August Debouzy, Jean-Damien Boulanger made his career at the Bredin Prat firm.

Jean-Damien Boulanger joins the firm at the same time as **Rodrigue Tchouale**, a lawyer specialising in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital. Rodrigue Tchouale works in the area of complex and/or cross-border mergers and acquisitions, disposals, investments, and reorganisations on behalf of listed and unlisted companies and French and foreign investment funds from various industries, including media, telecommunications, and energy. After an early career at British and American law firms (Freshfields, Baker McKenzie), Rodrigue Tchouale was part of the M&A / Private Equity team at De Pardieu Brocas Maffei for 5 years before joining August Debouzy.

**About Jean-Damien Boulanger and Rodrigue Tchouale**:

Jean-Damien is a member of the Paris bar (2010) and a graduate of the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (Master II in business law, 2008) and ESSEC (French “Grande Ecole” curriculum, 2007). He is frequently noted in professional rankings as one of the best specialists in his activity (The Legal 500 EMEA, 2022).

A member the Paris bar (2015), Rodrigue is a graduate of the University of Paris X (Master II in Business Law and Institut d’Etudes Judiciaires, 2011) and HEC Paris (Master’s specialising in International Law and Management, 2012). Rodrigue is frequently noted among the best specialists and a “rising star” in his activity (Best Lawyers’ “Ones to Watch” in Private Equity, 2021 and 2022).

Rodrigue is also the co-founder and president of the Cercle Hébè, a forum for reflection and action that aims to promote youth initiative.
