## Biography

Philippe Lucet has been a member of the Paris Bar since 1966. He practiced law as an attorney in the High Court then became an attorney at the Paris Bar from 1970 to 2000 and joined law firm Bodin Lucet Genty. Philippe Lucet was also a member of the French Conseil National des Barreaux (National Council of Bars) from 1995 to 1999 and a member of the French Conseil de l’Ordre (Bar Council) from 1986 to 1988. Then he joined the Ordre des Avocats au Barreau de Paris (Paris Bar Association) as a Secretary-General from 2000 to 2015.

Philippe Lucet also acted as chairman for the association Droit et Procédure (Law and Procedure), as Vice-President of ARAPL (Regional association for self-employed workers) (acting as a partner in charge of the accounting approval for law firms) and Vice-President of UNAPL-Ile de France (National union of self-employed workers).

Philippe Lucet was also a member of the commission on law enforcement reform and a course lecturer (chargé d’enseignement) at Paris X University (civil procedure and measures of execution, postgraduate course (DEA) in General Private Law: litigation strategy) and a course lecturer (chargé d’enseignement) at Paris II University (postgraduate course (DEA) in Litigation and Arbitration, and litigation strategy).

Philippe Lucet is a member of TF1’s “Comité Indépendance et Pluralisme” since 2017. That same year, he was appointed « Rapporteur » by the « bâtonnier » of Paris to fix the lawyers' fees in case of disputes.

Philippe Lucet joined August Debouzy’s Litigation, Arbitration and White-Collar Crime team as a Senior Counsel in 2015.
